The customer required a flexible aluminum billet production system capable of handling different billet specifications and multiple aluminum alloys. The casting system therefore needed to support flexible production scheduling and efficient changeover between different production requirements.

To reduce dependence on manual cutting and improve billet cutting accuracy, cut-face quality, and processing efficiency, the customer also introduced an automatic billet circular saw for billet end trimming and fixed-length cutting.

• Flexible Dual-Casting Configuration
  The project combines a 30-ton casting line and a 15-ton casting line with a 30-ton aluminum melting furnace. This configuration allows the customer to adjust billet specifications and production batches according to order requirements, improving equipment utilization and production flexibility.
• Automated Billet Cutting
  The automatic billet circular saw performs billet head and tail trimming as well as fixed-length cutting in an automated process. The system helps improve cutting accuracy and produces smooth, even cut surfaces while reducing manual handling and operator workload.
