This project was developed for a company specializing in the R&D and production of specialty aluminum alloys for new energy vehicles, aerospace, and advanced industrial applications.
As demand for lightweight materials continues to grow in these sectors, manufacturers face increasingly stringent requirements for material consistency, product quality, and reliable production.
Project Requirements & ChallengesBillet quality is critical in specialty aluminum alloy production. As an important feedstock for downstream extrusion and further processing, the quality of the billet can directly affect the performance of the finished product.
The customer focused on three key production requirements:
- Melt Cleanliness
Reduce inclusions and improve the purity of the molten aluminum. - Alloy Composition Uniformity
Maintain an even distribution of alloying elements to meet the requirements of high-performance aluminum alloys. - Melt Temperature Uniformity
Maintain consistent casting conditions and reduce process fluctuations.
The customer therefore required an aluminum billet melting and casting system capable of providing stable melt treatment, precise process control, and reliable operation.
