Box-Type In-Line Degassing System
The box-type in-line degassing system is installed between the holding furnace and filtration equipment to remove dissolved hydrogen and non-metallic inclusions from molten aluminum before the melt enters the casting molds. Argon or nitrogen is dispersed into the molten aluminum as fine bubbles. These bubbles capture hydrogen and oxide impurities and carry them to the melt surface for removal, helping improve molten aluminum cleanliness.
- The rotor introduces argon or nitrogen into the molten aluminum and disperses the inert gas into fine, uniform bubbles through high-speed rotation.
- As the bubbles move through the melt, they capture hydrogen and non-metallic inclusions and carry them to the surface, where they are removed by skimming.
- A dual-rotor, multi-chamber design promotes more uniform gas distribution throughout the molten aluminum, improving treatment effectiveness for higher melt flow rates.
- Efficient Degassing
The dual-rotor and multi-chamber design promotes thorough dispersion of inert gas bubbles and increases the gas-to-melt contact area. The sealed degassing box also reduces outside air ingress, helping lower the risk of secondary oxidation. - Stable Temperature Control
An immersion heating system maintains molten aluminum temperature during production interruptions. SCR temperature control allows the melt temperature to be adjusted as required. - Adjustable Operation
The inclined rotor drive provides a straightforward operating arrangement, while inert gas flow and rotor speed can be adjusted according to casting requirements. - Convenient Maintenance
The rotor and heater feature independent lifting and moving mechanisms for easier servicing. Dedicated plugs help reduce molten aluminum temperature loss and oxidation when the rotor or heater is removed.
